Former Coastal Carolina University women’s basketball standout DJ Williams will start her professional basketball career overseas as she has signed with Gesam Gas Le Mura Lucca in Italy, it was recently announced.
Williams was named the 2019-20 Sun Belt Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Year last season, as she led the Chanticleers to a program-record 25 wins.
